Columbine Valley Real Estate and Columbine Valley Community Information
A small town of just 1200 residents, Columbine Valley is situated to the west of Littleton, just west of the Platte River. It was named after the Columbine Country Club, which was named for the state flower.
There are 440 homes in 662 acres, with few town homes, which makes the neighborhood spacious and open.
The neighborhoods in the area include Grant Ranch, Bear Creek, Marston Slopes, Columbine, Roxborough, Heritage West, Chatfield, Fox Hollow, Ridgepoint, Willow Springs, White Deer Valley and Raccon Creek.
Seventeen families living around the Columbine Country Club formed the town of Columbine Valley in 1955, and it was incorporated in 1959.
The Columbine Valley area can be described as the area between Bowles Ave on the North to Chatfield Ave on the South. From Platte Canyon on the East to Wadsworth on it’s western boarder in Littleton, Colorado. The area is located in un-incorporated Jefferson County.

The 40% of residents who are members of the The Columbine Country club, enjoy a private golf course, swimming and tennis. Equestrian needs are met with the Polo Riding near by.
The best hiking/biking trails are found close by in Waterton Canyon, Deer Creek Park, Hayden/Green Mountain & Mount Falcon.
Bear Creek Lake Park is great for fishing. Red Rocks Park, Chatfield Arboretum, Dinosaur Ridge and Roxborough State Park are impressive for their red rock geological formations.
